Lemonade Stand Restaurant
Our Story
We are a for-profit, mission-based kitchen. We operate as a workforce and talent development program partnered with local educational programs that emphasize and prepare skill sets needed to operate a small business. Our values of Generosity, Adaptability, and Loyalty will help create the foundation for a bridge between young adults and their transition to their careers or next stepping stone in life. We are committed to providing the community with profitable, inspiring, ethical, and safe food. Each apprentice is given the opportunity to take responsibility for different areas of the business while we remain 100% transparent internally with costs, revenue, ingredients, recipes, etc. This unique environment will mimic a classroom and produce well-rounded individuals with hands-on education and application; thus, dissolving the disconnect between operations, production, and the consumer. Our goals are to build resumes and experiences while networking and funneling ready-to-work individuals to local vacancies, specifically, but not limited to the restaurant industry. Ultimately, we hope to create a network that showcases the company values of: Generosity, Adaptability, and Loyalty to bring opportunities and support to our past, present, and future apprentices.
The concept will be a collection of creative cuisine to give opportunity for apprentices to learn a vast majority of skills. With a base menu of Bayou Barbecue, consumers will know what to expect and love, but will have the opportunity to see creations from our apprentices as they professionally grow over time with their skill sets. We will blend front of the house and back of the house staff and the uniforms will help visually depict that for customers. Our Cajun-influenced barbecue menu will provide the community with a unique twist in available local options.
